Where do you get ice cream in Jefferson?
Name a business on the Square … or a street named after a President.
It’s questions like these that will have four teams competing in the second edition of Family Feud~Jefferson Edition on Saturday, Oct. 21, at the History Boy Theatre Company at RVP~1875 in Jefferson.
This version of Family Feud is a FUNdraiser for Jefferson Matters: Main Street and promises to be another hilarious evening of friendly competition. Family Feud is the game show where knowing the “right” answer isn’t necessarily the way to victory – as all answers are based on survey questions answered by the general public. In the case of Jefferson’s Family Feud game, survey questions were asked at the 2017 Bell Tower Festival of residents and visitors of all ages.
Four new teams are this year’s contestants in this annual event and will be announced soon. Teams representing a wide variety of community members have been challenged to be entertaining and fun – just like those on the Family Feud game show. The host, Rick Morain, a well-known personality in Greene County, is bound to keep the teams on their toes.
The October 21 event is unique in many ways. It will begin with a social hour from 6:30 to 7:30 pm with BYOB (bring your own beverage) and appetizers from Jefferson restaurants. The first Family Feud game will begin at 7:30 with the next two teams competing on board following. The event will end with wine-tasting and a dessert bar to recap the shenanigans that took place.
This Family Feud event was successful in its 2016 inaugural year. The Main Street committee invites the public to make plans to attend. This is the only fundraiser event for Jefferson Matters: Main Street to help accomplish the many projects that are undertaken.
Tickets for the event are $25 and available at The Printer’s Box, Home State Bank, Peoples Trust & Savings Bank, and the Jefferson Matters: Main Street office at 110 W Lincoln Way. With limited seating, purchase your tickets soon.
